The goals of the Youth Bureau are:
Respect our youths as contributing members of our community and to ensure that their rights are protected, provide intervention services, make ourselves available to the juvenile in crises, provide a safe enviroment where our youths feel free to express themselves and provide alternatives in order to promote individuality while simultaneously promoting an attitude of community responsibility.
To attain these goals, the Youth Bureau espouses an eclectic approach toward conflict resolution, taking into consideration a wide range of social services available and the utilization of the formal education system. The most effective form of prevention is through education and early intervention and to this end; the bureau provides educational programs to all groups within the community.
